A lot of artists
spend a lot of time
thinking about what
to make.

For me (& Jackson Pollock)
the question is (was) not so much
what to paint, but what to
do with the time in
between making.

I write these silly
little things to fill up
space while I wait
for paint to dry.

Shit, I need to get out more.
